Christmas pics and goose eggs!

Yeah, so I decided that we would take the kids to see Santa today. So I got them all dressed up in their Christmas outfits and we decided to all sit in front of our tree and take a family pic! Here are a few of our family pics...

A cute one of Ayva.

Then while I was downloading the pics on my computer, Justin decided to put little J in the car push toy and push him around the house. Well as they were going through the door to the kids room, little J decided to lean over to one side and -BANG- he smacked his forehead on the door jam. Instantly a huge goose egg appeared. It is officially the first big "boo-boo" little J has gotten. Poor guy- look...

Ouch.

So needless to say- we did NOT go see Santa Claus today. :( Oh well.

Way Back When-sday

Be sure to check out who else is playing along at Cheryl's blog at Twinfatuation.
This Way Back When-sday is December 10, 2007. And up until two days after this picture, everything was going GREAT. But on the 12, it was one of the worst days of my life. Justin got sick. Very sick. And his sisters soon followed. They all got late onset group B strep infections and it was the absolute scariest times in my whole life. I was (I guess) in denial about them being completly fine and happy that nothing serious was going to happen to my sweet babies. I kept telling myself that we dodged a bullet by having them so early with no apparent troubles. Boy was I wrong. Anyways- Enjoy the pics of them NOT being sick! (sorry to be such a Debbie Downer)

Anna, Justin and Ayva all snugged up together!

Christmas Jammies!

We've got new Christmas pajamas! They are SOOO cute! I "tried" to get them to all sit on the couch and get some pics of them in their jammies- yeah, uh... it's not easy to get three babies to all sit still and look at me all at the same time! We did our best...
Anna, Justin and Ayva

I love these two. Justin is such a ham!

Sisterly love.

Look at the teeth on Anna! Geeze!

The girls decided to end the night with a kiss...

Or two!

Now it's off to bed for three VERY cranky babies! Nighty-night! (p.s. sorry the last 2 pics are sideways- my laptop won't let me turn them around!)

Way Back When-sday

This week's Way Back When-sday is of Justin and I holding all three babies together for the first time. After almost a month we finally got to hold them all together (Our NICU didn't let them lay next to each other so they were missing each other a lot by then!)
These pictures are only a couple of days away from when Justin first got sick. The girls shortly followed him and it was about the worst time in my life EVER. I think it was even scarier than when they were born. They were really sick.

You can read along with other Way Back When-sday's at Cheryl's blog at Twinfatuation!
We also want to give a shout-out to "Aunt" Julie and say HAPPY BIRTHDAY! WE LOVE YOU!

Wishing and hoping!

Today is the first day Ayva has been on a full dose of Vigabatrin. I am still optomistic that this will be the thing that works for her. She has already had noticably fewer seizures and is overall a happier baby. (This is a video of me tickling her and then towards the end she started to cry b/c it was time for a bottle and not b/c she was unhappy. She is doing so much better at eating too!! She actually acts hungry now! My big girl!)

Everyone keep your fingers crossed that this works for her!

And some pictures just fun...

Tomorrow is Ayva's MRI and I have to take her by myself. Justin has to work and Grandma Dee Dee will be watching Anna and Justin. We are hoping it all goes well and that it won't start snowing until we get home. Her appointment is at 8 am and snow is predicted at 10 am!

Hope you all are having a wonderful Tuesday!!

Our Thanksgiving!

It went very well actually! It was the first year that we had dinner at my house. Usually we go to my grandparents- but since my grandma had a stroke, she wasn't up to cooking (and they decided to go some of their family in Texas). So everyone else (mostly our parents and siblings) came over to our house. Justin and his dad deep fried the turkey and made a ham, my mom, Justin's mom, my brother and my grandma dean all brought over some side dishes, while I made the mashed potatoes and gravy, pinwheels, veggies, cheese dip and a pie. YUM YUM. We had SO much food left over we'll be eatin' turkey and fixin's for weeks! Here are a few pics I got of the kiddos in their turkey shirts before they all got T-day goodness on them!

The handprint turkey shirts we made! (Do you see Ayva and Anna holding hands? Aw...so cute) L-R Ayva, Anna

Justin, Ayva and Anna.
Their shirts turned out really cute. I made their handprints be turkeys and I put their nicknames on the back. Justin's said BOO BEAR Ayva's said SASSY PANTS Anna's said GIGGLE BOX.

Look how happy my tiny Ayvie is!??? This new medicine is helping but hasn't stopped them all together. Hopefully the full dosage will! Keep your fingers crossed!!

WE HOPE EVERYONE HAD A WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING!!
