98% of the time, your mother is right....

That is what I am telling myself tonight. For Ashtin's birthday, she wanted me to go with her to a concert- Red, White and Boom. It wasn't sunny when we left, so I decided to wear a tank top. My mom and dad came over to watch the babies while I was gone and as I walked out the door she said, "You should put sunscreen on. If you don't you'll be sorry. When you come home burnt, don't come crying to me." Well....needless to say I did not put any sunscreen on..
(Don't try this at home, kids)...

OUCH!

And while I was there getting burned to a crisp- after only ONE hour! (I am very pale- and burn SUPER easy)- the babies were having fun at home with Grandma and Grandpa!

Justin being funny

He is yelling at the tv. It is so funny because we were playing Wii and the person I created to look like me was on and he was talking to it!! (you have to listen around Ayva crying).

Well........

Well... we think Ayva's problem was a combination of Acid Reflux and her poor belly not liking the regular Enfamil Lipil. As I look back and think about it, she slowly got fussier when we switched her from Neosure to Enfamil. So she is now getting Soy milk and Zantac. MUCH BETTER! It's like she's a whole new kid. I feel so bad about her having a belly ache all this time and me not knowing what it was and she couldn't tell me what it was. Especially since everyone told me it was just colic. Well she is better now and here are some pictures to prove it.

We also went to the park this weekend for Auntie Ashtie's Cheerleanding BBQ. And we got they got to ride in a swing for the first time. They all really liked it. Ayva slept the whole time, but if she isn't crying- then she likes it. We only rode for a minute because they are all so pale and we didn't have any sunscreen on.

Today I gave Justi some sweet potatoes for the first time. He really liked them as you can see...

And as always I post random pics, so....

Also I've decided that for my birthday this year I want pictures of my husband and I and the kids as a family taken. SO I've also decided that I will go on a diet so I can look good for them. I just need to start working out and I think I will feel better. About myself and maybe my body will feel better. I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight but I am not happy about it. I mean I am happy that I am not as heavy as I was with three babies in my belly, but I want to weigh less. So that being said I am going to go and eat my last piece of Strawberry Shortcake my mom made the other day and not have any more sweets, soda or a whole lot of food. I will try to eat in moderation with a combination of walking on the tredmil at night after the kids go to bed. Hopefully I can slim down some. Well.... I'm going to bed now before someone wakes up.

7 months old today! And Happy Father's Day!

Here are some of my favorite pics of Daddy with our babies!!!

(first pic is Daddy with Anna, second is Daddy with Justin)

Daddy holdin all three at the same time for the first time.

(Daddy feeding Justin and Daddy holding Ayva and Anna.)

Anna, Ayva and Justin are 7 months old today! AND it's Daddy Justin's first Father's Day. The kids "bought" their daddy a new charcoal grill. And we grilled steaks for dinner! But sadly, when we started to use the new grill, one of the grill plates was BROKEN! I think it might have gotten broken when the two teenagers loaded it into the back of my mom's truck and moved it around like 4 times before setting it on it's side. THAT probably broke it. ANYWAYS~ we used the gas grill that my mom and dad had left over here from the hamburgers we had a few weekends ago. We had yummy steaks, and baked beans, potato salad, macaroni salad and stuffed jalapeno peppers! OH and a chocolate pie from Corner Cafe. OH SO GOOD! Oh and while we were at the store we got some really good looking corn. We watch the food channel a lot and they have played the episode of Iron Chef where they had a corn battle and it looked really good. WELL someone put one of the babies blankets over the bag of corn and we forgot to cook it! DANG!

Here are our 7 month pics!

They all have onsies on that say something about daddy.

In other news- I am getting more and more worried about my Ayva-baby. She is constantly refusing to eat from a bottle. Just recently she has gone from sitting in a bouncy seat, eating a bottle that was propped (not all the time, but if all three were hungry at the same time, somebody's got to eat by themselves. I've only got two hands) and eating 6 ounces every time to now eating 6 ounces in the morning when she wakes up, then 4 ounces three hours later and then 3 if I'm lucky every time after that. I am so worried that it isn't enough. It was ok at the beginning of the week. I could get her to eat for the most part- but it's gone down hill from there. I am going to call the doctor tomorrow and see what they say. I hope that if it is colic, that they either have some tricks on how to make it better or something. Because a miracle is needed..... She has GOT to eat. How can a baby not want to eat her bottle when that is all she really knows. We've had cereal, but not enough to let her just eat that. AND if she would even eat some cereal on top of 3 or so ounces I would feel better, but she won't. I will see what the doctor says and hope for the best! That's all I can say about that for now.......I am sad and frustrated and I don't even know what.......... I just feel like crying. So I will just look at the pics and remind myself that they are all little chunky babies and Oh So Cute and try to smile.

Long time, no write...

It's been a while since I've blogged so lets recap (even though there isn't much to recap on)

We went to the eye doctor yesterday. I was getting worried about Ayva not tracking as well as she should. The doctor (her name was Dr. Hug- cute) said that she had what they call Visual Immaturity. Which just means she is behind on learning to see. She said people have to learn to see just like they learn to walk or talk. And she hasn't learned to track well yet. She wants to see her in three months and re-evaluate. Hopefully she can catch up in the mean time. BUT they are sending out some people from CCVI (I don't know exactly what it stands for but it is something for the Visually Impaired). They are going to come and do some excercizes for her eyes to strengthen them and try to catch her up. Anna and Justin are right on track and Justin was even ahead for 4 months adjusted.

i now have to type with one hand b/c i am holding ayva so here are some pics
Ok... I can type now I got Ayva to sleep. Anyways I can't believe that my little babies will be 7 months old on Sunday!! FATHERS DAY!! Yay Daddy's first father's day. And the kiddos already told me what to get for daddy! Oooooo He's gonna love it!!! I will have to take pictures of them with daddy for their 7 month picture!
My cousin is getting married on Saturday and I really wanted to go. But they live in Conway, Arkansas and it would be an 8 hour drive! I REALLY wanted to take the babies but there is NO way Ayva would have ridden in the car that long. She HATES the car and the carseat and hardly lasts 5 minutes let a lone 8 hours!!! I wanted all my family down there to get to see them and I really wanted to take them on their first out of town car trip! Oh well..... I guess there is always something else, some other time to go down there for! I just wouldn't have felt right with myself if I made my poor girl go through that kind of drive. But I did send pictures of them with their great granny! Hope everyone likes them!

Our first time in the pool

So I am finally posting pics from the first time I put the kids in the pool. I was so excited to do it that the girls didn't have swimsuits. Oh well...
I think this one pic pretty much sums up the atmosphere in the pool..... well Anna anyway.

This is Justin's foot. It is all wrinkly after the pool. He stayed in the longest!
I think I would say that the pool was an overall success. Ayva liked it and stayed in longer than Anna. And Ayva is usually the first one to not like something. Justin and Ayva stayed in the pool for a good 30 minutes. I'm glad I found something Ayva likes! She can be so grumpy sometimes!
Anyway in other news- we moved into our new house and LOVE it! I will post pics of before and after when I put them on my computer!
