I wish....

Sometimes I wish that I had an oppertunity to show people that I can be good at something. I feel like sometimes people think I have no talent in anything and I wish that I could prove I do have some skills at things.

Like, I wish that I could be a photographer. I LOVE pictures and love taking them, but sometimes I feel like people don't think I can do it. I don't want to toot my own horn, but I really feel that if someone gave me the chance, I could really do a good job......

So with that being said, for those of you who read this blog (and I'm not sure that many do), I am going to post some of my pictures.

I took this myself.

Oh well......wish in one hand, you-know-what in the other and see which one gets filled first.

Oh a P.S. added to my last post

Justi had his last eye appointment to check for ROP. ( I think it stands for Retinopathy of Prematurity) Anyways he was the last one and they were just checking his left eye, now he has the all clear!! Yay!! So here is a pic of his one dialated eye. Poor baby.

6 MONTHS OLD TODAY!!

YEA!!! We finally made it! Geeze, it seems like only yesterday that I was looking at my sweet little babies in their little incubators. Now they are so big and growing and doing new things!!

Here is our 6 month pic:

And here is updates on the kiddos:

Miss Anna Jeanne- (Anna Banana, Annie bananie, smile bucket, Sunshine bear, Anna bear, Bright Eyes, Pumpkin)

Things she likes: kisses, to eat sitting up, snuggling with mommy, laying on the couch, watching Justin's mobile, to be tickeled (only for a minute), banana cereal, to play pat-a-cake, tummy time, and taking a bath.
Things she doesn't like: the sun in her eyes, to wait for her banana cereal, having a bottle propped (and not being held), her feet tickeled, car rides, sitting in her car seat and spitting up.
Stuff she can do!: She can sit propped up on her hands for 10 seconds, roll from tummy to back, she is starting to "talk" and giggle, can hold a rattle and is trying to roll from back to tummy.

She was born first and weighed 3 lbs. 1 oz. and now weighs 14 lbs. 7 oz.

Miss Ayva Verlie- ( Ayva-mayva, Chunk-a-lunk, Crank-pot, Sugarbaby, Cupcake, Pretty-Pretty-Princess and Snuggle-Bunny)
Things she likes: to be held, hugs, playing pat-a-cake, when grandma feeds her, mommy kisses, applesauce and bananas, to lay on her tummy, to sit on mommy's lap, and to go on walks (if she is being carried).
Things she doesn't like: to lay on her back, to be alone in a room, sun in her eyes, the wind blowing on her face (that's why in these pics she has her eyes closed-sunny and windy), car rides and sitting in her car seat, physical therapy (cause she has to lay on her back) and warm milk (she gets to a point when it is too warm for her).
Things she can do!: She can sit propped up for 5 seconds, is trying to roll from tummy to back (she did it once), she can hold a rattle, looks like she wants to crawl and is just now starting to "talk" .
She was born second and weighed 3 lbs. 1 oz. and now weighs 14 lbs. 7 oz.

Mr. Justin Case- (Goober, Goober Bucket, Mr. Happy, Sir-Smiles-A-Lot, Happy Boy, Ham-Bone, Smiley, Big Boy, Baby Bear and Justi)
Things he likes: to stand, anyone talking to him, his paci, banana cereal, eating, his new "Quack says the Duck" book, laughing, being tickeled, watching his mobile, looking at his sissies, to sit with mommy or daddy, to play pat-a-cake, sing and play head-sholders-knees-and-toes, and to stretch.
Things he doesn't like: having to wait for his bottle, loud noises, when daddy sings one certian country song (I think it is called "Home".)and he HATES regular plain cereal.
Things he can do!: He can stand very well, laugh, "talk", play with toys for a long time, he has rolled from tummy to back twice, sits propped up for 12 seconds, and looks like he might be trying to crawl.

He was born third and weighed 2 lbs. 15 oz when he was born and now weighs 13 lbs. 2 oz.

Fun Day!

Today I got the kids dressed and ready for their 6 month developmental follow up. It went ok. They were ahead for 3 month olds on most things, but behind on some things. They can sit and keep their heads up and try to balance, they raise their heads up well while on their tummy, they follow toys well and follow the noise of a toy. Also they have all rolled from tummy to back- and that is ahead for 3 month olds! We have another follow up in three months when the kids will be "6 months old" but really 9 months old. Hopefully they can catch up in the areas they were behind.

They weighed them and here are the stats:
Anna- 14 lbs. 6 oz.
Ayva- 14 lbs. 6 oz.
Justin- 13 lbs. 2 oz.
Which is funny because the girls weighed the exact same when they were born and then after that were completly different weights and now they are the same again. Weird. And Justi has always been my little guy.

Here is a pic of us before we left.

And then after the follow up we went over to our new house where my cousin Devyn brought her 2 week old son Elijah over to see everyone!

This is my cousin's baby Elijah Cole.

And here is my trio with baby Eli!

Well my first Mother's Day was great! "The kids" (or Justin really) got me a very nice pair of tennis shoes AND a Kitchen Aid mixer!!!!! I was SOOOOOOOOOO excited! I have wanted one FOREVER!!! I took my mom out to lunch for mother's day with my brother and Justin took the kids to his mom's and I met up with them later. All in all it was a great day. I haven't written in a while b/c we have been so busy trying to get things ready to move. I think we will get to move in this weekend. I CANT WAIT!! On Friday Justin and I took the wallpaper down in the kitchen. It was dreadful! It had been up for over 10 years and was NOT coming down. SO we decided to sand what was left and just paint over it. Not a good idea. We decided to paint it red and it has taken 3 coats and could use another! We'll see how it turns out.

I don't have any pictures of mother's day but I will post some random ones from over the weekend.

Justin's new favorite toy.

Ayva's new favorite toy. It is a bear with chewie hands and feet and it says
"I love you this much".

This is how I found Anna sleeping on Friday morning.

And this is how I found Ayva sleeping on Friday morning. Her poor little legs were stuck inbetween the slats of the bed! :(

Finally a nice day for a walk!

Finally, it was nice enough for my mom and I to take the babies on a walk around the block. They all enjoyed it- but at the end when we got back to the house Anna started to cry. That is why she is crying in her picture. Once around the block was enough for her. I really want a triple stroller. I found a really neat one at Dick's and I REALLY want it. Maybe I can get it after we move. It says that they can use it until they are 5! That would be great, then we wouldn't have to use 2 strollers! Here are some pics.. (oh and everyone see my new haircut??)

Our New House!!!

Here is the new house!!!

Justin standing in the living room (we are going to switch the living room and the dining room.) So this will be our dining room.

This is the Kitchen. We are taking down the fruit wallpaper and painting it red and putting up all my chef things. I have a chef theme going.

And this is a pic of the island in the kitchen.

This is the dining room- or soon to be living room. The top half is going to be painted a sort of grey color and the bottom half is going to be red.

Another view of the living room.

This is the giant yard. This pic is after the patio so there is patio right off the house and like 30 ft. after patio is this yard!

Another view of the house from the side yard.

And this is our bedroom. My grandma is letting us keep the bed- but not the bedspread. A KING SIZE BED! HALLELULAH!!!!!!!!!!!

And another view of our bedroom.
I am SO excited! We can start to paint and move in after the house has been appraised, which is happening this up coming week! Which is good because I wanted to have a BBQ for the babies 1/2 year birthday
sometime soon. They will be 6 months on May 15th!!! They are getting so big so fast!
